Italian courtyard - Massimo Frascogna

A vine climbs the ochre wall of an old Italian house, past a wooden balcony and a wrought iron one hung with washing. An arched wooden door glows orange in the middle of the facade, and in front of it a table with a pink cloth stands ready between four wooden folding chairs.

Worked up from a photograph into a watercolour, with the grain of the paper left visible. Massimo Frascogna works across drawing and photography, mixing techniques by hand and on the computer. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
