Todos Comem, Todos Gostam (Everyone Eats, Everyone Likes It) - Corre-Pé

Faces and animals press together across the whole canvas: a large pale face looks out from the top in a red jacket patterned with yellow, a blue head leans in from the left in profile, and a yellow beast and a green one crowd the right edge. Small white figures stand between them, a fire burns at the lower left, and the ground behind runs yellow, red and deep blue. Every shape is bounded by a heavy black line.

Painted in heavy oil with thick black outlines, the colour worked until the surface stands up from the canvas. Corre-Pé is a Portuguese contemporary artist who moves between expressive figuration, abstraction and symbolism, and takes up memory, identity, family and social life in vivid primary colour. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
