Teal Abstract - Marina Agre

Narrow vertical strokes run the full height of the canvas in teal, petrol blue and white, with thin seams of ochre and gold breaking through near the bottom. The paint has been scraped back in places so older layers show, and the whole surface stays cool and close in tone, like rain across a window.

Painted in acrylic on a textured ground, the colour dragged downward and scraped back so each layer still reads. Marina Agre is a contemporary artist based in Poland who has painted landscapes, abstracts and still lifes since 1993. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
