Beyond Time - Sabine Halbrock

A city stands in black and white, its towers rising on both sides of a street that runs straight back into the distance. The buildings are scraped and scratched out of the dark paint, with windows left as small white gaps, and the sky above is almost bare canvas.

Worked in acrylic on a textured ground, the black dragged on and then cut back with a blade to open the white. Sabine Halbrock works in her studio in Hamburg with acrylic paint and textured materials on canvas. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
