Hesburger - Priit Ruttas

Dense black pen scribble covers the whole sheet from edge to edge. A scene half-surfaces inside it: upright posts, a low dark mass across the middle, a chequered patch at the centre and block letters forming along the right edge. What can be read of Hesburger is lettering and shape alone, surfacing in the line and going under again.

Drawn in pen, built up from thousands of short overlapping strokes so the image appears out of the density of the line. Priit Ruttas draws to find new space, levels and dimensions in a picture, so that the eye keeps discovering something further each time it looks. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
