Into the Sun 🌞 - ZhanSnow

A pale sun sits low over the sea, its light spread across a coral and peach sky banded with grey and gold clouds. In front of it a single wave curls over, its white foam worked up in thick ridges, and the dark blue-green water below catches the same warm light. Sky and sea meet in a soft haze on the horizon.

Painted in oil on canvas, the clouds and the foam built up in thick dabs of paint against thinner, smoother water. Zhan Snow is a Kazakh artist based in London, who works mainly in oils and explores emotion, nature and imagined worlds through expressive colour and dreamlike imagery. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
