Nike - Priit Ruttas

Loose loops of blue, red and brown pen gather into a tall mass on a white sheet, spreading out like a wing at the top and thinning as it falls. A small dense knot of line sits below it, close to the lower edge. Most of the paper is left bare.

Drawn in ballpoint pen, built up from thousands of short overlapping strokes so the image appears out of the density of the line. Priit Ruttas draws to find new space, levels and dimensions in a picture, so that the eye keeps discovering something further each time it looks. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
